I'm really proud of how this song came out. I'm finally settling into how I want my album to sound. This song is a preview of what's to come.
I feel like my mixes are getting better and better in my home studio. I experimented more with parallel channels and automation to create more excitement between the different sections of the song.
I used my Sunset Sound song, "No Surprise" as a reference track. Billy Mims was my engineer on that session. The drums and vocals in particular on that song are fantastic sounds to strive towards.

This song is great! I love the lyrics. Your songwriting abilities have really progressed with all you time in the studio and at Sunset.
