Wow! Last week was pretty crazy!

So I talked to Phil, studio manager, at Sunset Sound and got the session booked for August 18, 2021. He's got me in Studio 1. This is the room where most of Van Halen I was recorded.

I'm going to get to stand in the spot where Eddie laid down Eruption and changed rock guitar forever! 

So now I just need to keep working on the song that I'm going to record. I've got a half dozen demos that are pretty much done.

I've also got a phone full of riffs and me humming for a bunch more tunes. Gotta try and not pull a Kirk Hammett and lose my phone. Although everything gets backed up these days so we should be good.

I'm heading to PA this week to see my brother and hopefully talk to Jimmy. Jimmy played bass in Jack's Farm. He's going to help me get the song picked and dialed in. He said he might have a drummer for me.

I threw a comment at Pete Thorn on Instagram and he actually replied and said he could offer some names for session players in LA. Pete is a great guy! He played guitar in Chris Cornell's solo band and Pete has an awesome Youtube channel. Pete Thorn Youtube Channel
